eCampus News: “Digital learning tools fulfilling their promise”
eCampus News recently published an article by Dr. William Hoover of Bunker Hill Community College. Dr. Hoover wanted to standardize course content across all sections and use digital media to deliver effective content regardless of learning styles. Connect® Anatomy & Physiology allowed him to synchronize assignments and assessments, minimize start-up time for new instructors, and offer engaging student materials, which yielded dramatic 10-15% increases in student performance.
“The ability to assess and track student progress individually and automatically grade homework assignments and exams is [a] powerful tool. I and my adjuncts have reduced the time we spend on grading by 90 percent, and student test scores have risen, on average, 10 points since we began using Connect.”
